When the Lord Loves to Move

The disciples spoke unto Him
They said, “Master, we must go
For death, it now pursues him
And our friend needs us so”
But when two days had past
They knew Lazarus
By then he had died
John, the Lords beloved
Must have turned and replied

Martha felt such sorrow
It had never crossed her mind
Of the miracle she would have missed
Had Jesus been on time
Then Mary cried out at His feet
“Had you’d been here he’d not have died”
The Saviour bowed His head to weep
As those around began to cry
